    No, naturopathic medicine services are not covered by OHIP.

  • Can I use my health insurance plan to pay for your services?

    Most health insurance plans include naturopathic coverage for appointments. Some health insurance plans may also cover testing and supplement costs. Please check with your insurance plan to determine your specific coverage. I am happy to work alongside you to get the most out of your coverage!

  • Can naturopathic doctors order lab tests?

    Yes, ND’s can order lab tests. However, the cost is not covered by OHIP.

  • How much does an appointment cost?

  • Where can I purchase my recommended supplements?

    For virtual appointments, you can purchase supplements and other natural health products through Fullscript, an online dispensary offering third-party tested, high quality products. Alternatively, some products can be purchased at your nearest health foods store, such as Healthy Planet or Natures Source. If purchasing from a health foods store, I recommend to call in advance or check out their website to ensure the store has the product(s) in stock.

  • I already see a counsellor, can I still see you for mental health support?

    Absolutely! I consider myself a part of your healthcare team and am happy to work alongside other practitioners supporting you in health.

  • Can I receive naturopathic care while I am taking medications?

    Yes. Naturopathic doctors take an integrative approach to medicine. ND’s are trained in drug-herb and drug-nutrient interactions and can work with your current medication regimen to develop a safe and effective treatment plan to further support your health.

  • Can naturopathic doctors take me off of my medication?

    No, naturopathic doctors cannot take you off of your medications. However, we can provide guidance to support you during the tapering process. Any changes in medication dosing must be made by the prescribing doctor.
